In July, European plate prices continue to weaken, but the decline rate has eased compared to the price in June. Currently, ex-works price of Ruhr plate is 460 euros / ton; imports resouce quoted at euro375 / tonne (CIF, Antwerp), decline by about 5 euros / tonne. Among them, the Chinese import resouce offers about 380-400 euros / ton (CFR, Southern Europe). Overall market demand in general, volume was light.

For the afternoon market, most market participants believe that traders are actively digest inventory, pressure from imported resources still exists, so the price in the short-term still on downward trend.
