This week India's domestic hot rolled coil prices remain stable, the mainstream market prices of 3mm HRC is 27500-28500 rupees / tonne (USD 421-435), but the lower imported material prices keep local mills under pressure.

Indian mills said that in the past few months the demand of HRC inIndiahas increased, but most consumption is relatively low-priced imports of resources which forcing domestic mills to maintain stable prices.

Currently, Chinese HRC 3mm SS400B exported to India's offer quoted at USD 315-320 / ton (CFR). Fell by USD 5-10 / ton over last week,Japan and South Korea1.2-2mm HRC quoted steady at USD340-350 / tonne (CFR).
