CIS billet export market under pressure, some manufacturers reduce export prices to attract buyers.

Allegedly, price from Evraz and Metalloinvest steel mills down to USD305 / tonne (FOB, Black Sea), no conclusion, but the market expected that Egypt buyers may accept the offer.

Traders said the CIS billet suppliers should decrease the offer to USD300 / ton (FOB), the recent Chinese billet to Turkey quoted at USD300 / ton (CFR), to the Persian Gulf price of USD305 / ton (CFR).
