Tokyo Steel released the steel prices table of October. All varieties of steel prices were down, the decline range between 5000--13000 yen / ton, which is the first time to down the price after 11 consecutive months remained stable, mainly due to the sharp decline in scrap prices.

In terms of construction steel, prices of profile steel, beams, channels, angles down by 10,000 yen / ton, rebar price down by 13,000 yen/ ton. Flat material, hot rolled coil down by 10,000 yen/ ton, pickled coils down by 8,000 yen/ ton, prices of hot galvanized plate, hot-rolled sheet, plate pickling down by 5,000 yen/ ton, steel plate prices decreased by 7,000 yen/ ton.
