Korean scrap import market continued to decline. Hyundai Steel recently imported about 30,000 tons A3 scrap from Russia. The prices fall by USD5/mt to USD194/mt (CFR).

Recently, Korea has not imported bulk scrap from the United States, the latest US bulk No.1 heavy scrap quoted at USD190 / ton (CFR). The scrap steel ordered before of Hyundai Steel and other steel mills just arriving, so the mills don’t intend purchase more.
