Turkish scrap import market continued to rise, up by USD10/ton over last week.

Allegedly, the mixture of No 1 and 2 scrap(80:20) price of Turkish mills imported from US is USD 190 / ton (CFR), shredded scrap price is USD195 / ton (CFR), bonus grade scrap is USD 200 / ton (CFR); the price of mixture of No 1 and 2 scrap(80:20) imported from the Baltic is USD193 / ton (CFR), shredded scrap price is USD198 / ton (CFR), bonus grade scrap price is USD203 / ton (CFR).

             The market expected that Turkish scrap import prices would soon rise to USD200 / ton (CFR).
