The world's number one steel company Arcelor Mittal recently announced third quarter net loss of USD700 million, before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of USD1.4 billion, essentially flat with the previous quarter.

Due to the decline in demand and steel prices fell, the company's crude steel production in the third quarter fell from 23.9 million tons last year to 23.1 million tons, the total production in the first nine monthly is 70.8 million tons, a slight increase of 1.1% year on year.
