According to the Turkish steel mills Association (TCUD) data, in October, Turkey's crude steel production reached 2.77 million tons, up a slight increase of 2% YoY, an increase of 11.5% month on month.

TCUD noted that despite the global steel market stagnation, Turkey local steel market vicious competition, shrinking profits, the cost is difficult to control, but Turkish steel market still has to pick up in October, which is the first time to increase since April.
