European steel producers seek to increase the price of plate and coil in the UK by £ 30 / tonne.

Since the beginning of this year, the Nordic HRC prices have dropped by € 80 / tonne, the UK fell by £ 100 / ton. Earlier this month, some European mills announced price increases of € 20-30 / ton, most of them are the UK market participants.

Market participants are lack of confidence in the success of price increasing, after all, the market is still in a downturn environment. Northern European coil market has less pressure than South Europe.
