Since scrap prices keep rising, this week China Taiwan Feng Hsin Iron & Steel continue to increase the rebar and srap prices by NT $ 300 / tonne ($ 9 / t) .Currently 13mm rebar ex-factory price is NT $ 12,500 / ton, scrap purchase price is NT $ 6100 / ton.

Feng Hsin Iron and Steel said that as China billet price rising, currently scrap demand is growing, in order to meet the required they have to raise scrap buying prices.
