According to the Japanese iron sources Association, the average price of No. 2 heavy scrap in this week of Japan's three major scrap areas Kanto, central and Kansai mills is ¥ 23,857 / t ($ 219 / ton), up by ¥ 334 / tonne over last week and rise for eight consecutive week.

Wherein the Kanto No. 2 heavy scrap spot delivery price is 25,000 yen / ton, up 500 yen / ton over last week; the price of central area is 22,320 yen/ ton, unchanged from last week; price in Kansai is 24,250 yen/ ton, rose by 500 yen / ton over last week.
