Affected by the fall in scrap prices, rebar prices of Europe went in a downward trend, but the mills are trying to maintain the finished steel market stability, so now it’s too early to confirm that the prices will collapse.

While the market price trend in July is expected on steady-based, but still continue to focus the Turkish market dynamics, the current market sentiment doctrinal.

This week, the central parity of north-western Europe rebar is 462.5 euros / ton, down 2.5 euros / tonne, steel a tougher attitude, and therefore a smaller decline; southern European rebar market is more sensitive to changes in scrap prices, prices down by 15 euro / ton month on month to 375-380 euros / ton.
