For the cancellation of steel export tax rebates in 2015, the relevant aspects still have great differences. Market insiders have said, "It’s not easy to cancel steel export tax rebates in 2015."

Currently the focus of the steel industry is whether the steel export tax rebate is canceled or not. Although the Chinese domestic steel demand shrinking, the steel export soar.  The latest data show that from January to October, China's total steel exports reach 73.89 million tons, an increase of 42.2%. According to the China Steel Association estimates that it is expected to break 80 million tons of steel exports in this year which will hit the highest record. Steel exports volume this year are expected to account for about 10% of the country's crude steel production, this figure is 2-3% in previous years.
