Due to International scrap prices remain weak, this week Taiwan's Feng Hsin Iron & Steel decreased the steel plate prices again by NT $ 200 / ton (US $ 6 / ton). Last week, feng Hsin steel had already decreased the rebar price by NT $ 200 / ton. Currently, 13mm rebar ex-factory price is NT $ 14,300 / tonne ($ 461 / ton).

Meanwhile, Feng Hsin Iron & Steel also lowered scrap purchase price by NT $ 200 / ton, quoted at NT $ 6800 / ton. This is the first time Feng Hsin Iron and Steel decrease the scrap prices since mid-March.
