Indian mills concern about the arrival of cheap imports resources. They may further lower domestic hot rolled coil prices.

Allegedly, Russian HRC toIndiaquoted at USD370-375 / ton (CFR),Japanand Korea Resources quoted at USD400-410 / ton (CFR). Some steel mills said thatChina,Japanand other countries’s oversupply of hot rolled coils would lead more low-cost resources intoIndia.

Earlier this month, Indian mills decreased the carbon steel coils prices by Rs 2000 / ton to 28.5-30.5 thousand rupees / tonne (USD 447-478 / ton).
