According to reports the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board BKPM received Japanese company investment of USD 640 million which used to develop steel, chemicals, properties and marine areas in the coming years.

Iron and steel industry received total investment of USD200 million, the chemical industry was USD300 million, the property was USD100 million and USD40 million for the shipbuilding industry.
