According to
data released by the International Iron and Steel Institute, from January to
May, Iran's
crude steel output increased by 5.1% over last year.
IMIDRO
Organization says in first 5 month of 2015, Iran’s crude steel production have
reached 6.8 million tons, in the same period of 2014, the production was 6.608
million tons. Iran’s
crude steel production keep rised during past years, in 2013, the crude steel
production grew by 6% over last year and the production in 2014 grew by 6.6%
over 2013. Currently, Iran
has already become the biggest iron and steel production country in Middleeast
and North Africa.
In February, the overall planning of IMIDRO
announced that Iran
plans to cooperate with a number of domestic and international steel
enterprises to increase the crude steel production to 11.6 million tons.
