According to the Japanese Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT), Japan’s construction steel demand will reach 1.95 million tons in September, an increased by 8.3% month on month, up 4.8% year on year.

Profiles demand is expected to rise by 13.2% to 430,000 tons in September, an increase of 10.3%. Small rebar demand is expected to rise by 13.2% to 770,000 tons, an increase of 5.6% year on year.
