According to the Brazilian Trade Ministry data, in August the Brazilian iron ore exports to China was 13.31 million tons, down by 10.8% year on year, down by 16.3 % over last month. Average export price of Iron ore fell from USD61.1/mt of same period last year to USD33.16/mt, the sales down 52% to USD440 million.

Brazilian iron ore exports to Japan amount to 2.04 million tons, down 24.4%, with sales down 67.7% to USD66.69 million.
