In late October the US metals service center steel stocks reached 8.918 million short tons, down by 4.2% year on year, a decline of 3% month on month.

The shipments of US service center in October are 3.363 million short tons, down 14% year on year, growth of 3% month on month. Calculated in accordance with the number of supply days, the steel inventory in late October was 2.7 months supply 2.8 months supply in end of September.

The total shipment amount of US service center between Jan and October was 33.87 million short tons, down by 8% year on year.
