This week the US sheet market
remains weak, steel mills strive to maintain the price stable. Currently
Midwest HRC ex-works prices is USD380-390 / short ton, cold roll coils quoted at
USD 505-520 / short ton.
US sheet buyers are still not begun to rebuild
inventories, they continue to stay on the sidelines, only purchase by demand. Once
the market reversed continue, buyers are expected to increase procurement.
