Brazilian National Metallurgical Company (CSN) plans to raise prices of steel by 8% in the first quarter of next year.

Last time they increased the price was in October, the market accept only about 7% increase, hot rolled coils’ price rising by about 6% -8%, cold rolled coils and HDG prices rising about 0% to 2%.

CSN is currently working with the automobile sector to negotiate prices.
