NLMK USA announced
the increase of sheet spot price of USD40 / short ton, immediately started. The
company said the price increase is mainly due to the cost of stabilization,
stocks fell and imports volume decrease.
This year, the US sheet prices
have been falling, the US steel mills have increased the price by
USD20-40/short ton in June and July, but did not succeed.
