According to the Japanese iron sources Association statistics, the average price of No 2 heavy scrap of Japan's three major scrap areas Kanto, central and Kansai mill was ¥ 13,615 / tonne (USD 112 / ton), rose by 256 yen / ton compare with the price of last week, rising for two consecutive weeks.

Wherein the spot delivery price of No 2 heavy scrap in Kanto is 15,000 yen / ton, rose by 1,000 yen / ton compare with the price of last week; the pice in central area is 13,520 yen / ton, rose by 1,000 yen / ton over last week; price in Kansai is 14325 yen / ton, rose by 625 yen / ton over last week.
