India's state-owned mining company in the third quarter of this fiscal year (April-December 2015) iron ore production and sales have dropped significantly. Total production is 20.08 million tons, sales of 20.32 million tons, down 11% year on year.

Among them, the Chhattisgarh main mine production fell by 25% to 11.59 million tons, sales drop by 27% to 11.53 million tons.

NMDC full-year sales of iron ore production are expected about 27 million tons, dropped by 3million tons over last fiscal year.
