Turkish scrap import market continues to rise. The price of bulk mixture No.1 and No.2 heavy scrap (80:20) imported from the US East Coast is USD330 / ton (CFR), increased by USD18/mt over the end of April and up USD50/mt over last month. Shredded scrap import price of USD335 / ton (CFR), price of bonus grade scrap is USD340 / ton (CFR).

Turkish mills have also imported a batch of scrap from the Baltic region, the imported price of mixture of No 1 and No.2- heavy waste (80:20) is USD320 / ton (CFR), bonus grade scrap of USD330 / ton (CFR), delivered in June.
