"Saigon Economic Times" from Vietnam reported on September 19, Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) Chairman Fan Zhiqiang said that China boron steel products influx of Vietnamese market owning there is no tariff for these boron steels which bring damage to vietnam domestic construction steel producers. Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) has proposed anti-dumping lawsuit warning  to China Iron and Steel Association and recommended China to strengthen supervision and resolve this matter.

Vietnam General Department of Customs data shows that within first seven months of 2013, Vietnam imported 350,000 tons boron steel products from China,accounting 12% of vietnam domestic construction steel total sales.
