Application of P91 in Power Station Boiler

Large-diameter pipe P91 has also been used in power station boilers, mainly used to manufacture high-temperature superheater headers, high-temperature reheater headers, high-temperature reheater pipes and main steam pipes with metal wall temperature not exceeding 600 degrees Celsius. If 12Cr1MoV steel is used as the header piping material to produce a 300MW boiler, the wall thickness has reached 125MM, which brings certain problems to manufacturing and operation. If P91 steel is used, not only the wall thickness can be reduced by 20%, but the more important thing is to reduce the low Fatigue stress, extend the service life of the header.
