India extends anti-dumping duties on hot rolled 304 stainless steel imported from China

According to foreign media on June 5, the Indian government decided to extend the effective period of anti-dumping duties on 304 stainless steel hot-rolled flat products originating in China, Malaysia and South Korea until December 4, 2020. The tariff was first levied on June 5, 2015, for a period of five years, with taxes ranging from US$180 to US$316 per ton.

The Trade Relief Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the country issued an announcement on June 3 stating: "According to this notice, the current anti-dumping duties will continue to take effect until December 4, 2020 (including December 4, 2020) unless cancelled in advance, Replace or amend."
