301 stainless steel performance and application

301 (12Cr17Ni7) stainless steel has good rust resistance in industrial atmosphere and urban atmosphere. It also has good corrosion resistance in neutral and oxidizing environments and has usable corrosion resistance in the marine atmosphere. It has poor corrosion resistance in chemical media such as acid, alkali, salt, etc., so it is not recommended for corrosive media environment.
301 (12Cr17Ni7) stainless steel has good thermal processing performance, and can produce metallurgical products such as bars, pipes, forgings and so on.
301 stainless steel is mainly used to manufacture rail transit vehicles and parts, conveyor belts, ornaments, columnar utensils, etc.
