310S stainless steel performance and application

310S stainless steel (06Cr25Ni20) is a high-chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing media and good high-temperature mechanical properties. Therefore, it can be used for both corrosion-resistant parts and high-temperature parts. The oxidation resistance is better than 309S stainless steel, and the pitting and stress corrosion resistance is better than 304 stainless steel. 310S stainless steel has high chromium and nickel content, so it is mostly used for heat-resistant steel. 310S stainless steel has good cold and hot workability and welding performance.
310S stainless steel application: This stainless steel is in a strong oxidizing corrosive environment. When the corrosion resistance of 304L cannot meet the requirements, this steel can be selected, such as the exhaust gas preheater, heater, cooler and Condenser, etc.; nitric acid preheater in ammonium nitrate plant; reaction heat coiled tube in melamine plant; nitric acid condenser and nitric acid reboiler in acrylic fiber plant; reboiler in oxalic acid plant; nitric acid in uranium oxide production equipment. Enrichment devices for high-level radioactive waste in nuclear fuel reprocessing plants have been widely used and successfully operated.
