06Cr18Ni12Mo2Cu2 stainless steel is equivalent to adding 2% copper to 316 stainless steel. Its resistance to dilute sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid has been significantly improved. The corrosion resistance and pitting resistance are better than 316 stainless steel.
1. Hot workability: The hot workability of this stainless steel is good. The hot work temperature is slightly lower than that of 316 stainless steel. The suitable heating temperature is 1070-1090 degrees Celsius.
2. The cold workability of 06Cr18Ni12Mo2Cu2 stainless steel is basically the same as that of 316 stainless steel.
3. The solution heat treatment temperature of 06Cr18Ni12Mo2Cu2 stainless steel is 1050-1100°C.
4. The welding performance of 06Cr18Ni12Mo2Cu2 stainless steel is good. It can be welded by conventional welding methods, and it has good corrosion resistance after welding.
5. 06Cr18Ni12Mo2Cu2 stainless steel is used to manufacture equipment and parts resistant to corrosion such as dilute sulfuric acid, and can also be used to weld structural parts, pipes, and tanks.
