Recently, Nucor announced a further rise in plate prices by USD40 / short ton, which is the second time to increase the price this month. The price increasing mainly applied to the new order and spot cargo order which produce before June 4^th.

Overall, from December of 2015, US mills have increased the steel plate price for six times. Currently, the price of A36 steel plate of Southeast mills increased from USD455-460/short ton to USD580-590/short ton, increased by 28%.
