Performance and application of 321 and 321H stainless steel

The addition of Ti to 321 stainless steel (06Cr18Ni11Ti) improves the resistance to intergranular corrosion and is not recommended for decorative parts. It can be used to manufacture boiler shells, expansion joints of industrial equipment, often used in antimagnetic instruments, medical equipment, acid-resistant containers and equipment linings, pressure vessels, pipelines and other equipment and parts.
321H stainless steel (07Cr19Ni11Ti) is the most widely used, suitable for food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and atomic energy industries. It has good resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially in oxidizing media. Used to manufacture steel pipes and pipe fittings such as boiler superheaters, heat exchangers, condensers, etc.
