Due to import billet price keep decreasing, Taiwan Feng Hsin Iron & Steel lower the price of deformed steel bar by NT Dollar 200 / ton (USD 10 / ton). After the Spring Festival, Feng Hsin Iron & Steel has decreased the total price of deformed steel bar by NT dollar 500 / ton. Since mid-February, the price decline rate reached NT dollar 800 / ton. Currently, 13mm rebar ex-factory price of 13mm rebar is NT dollar 14,500 / tonne (USD 460 / ton).

The fell of price of imported billet mainly because of the high inventory levels during Spring Festival.

In addition, the scrap price of Feng Hsin steel is NT dollar 7,000 / ton.
